DEV NOTES

- I was briefly lead designer on a team of ~16 for this game, though I stepped down from the role quickly as it became clear I was not able to handle managing a team of that size. To be honest I really hate this game; I realized midway through development that my style wasn't compatible with the design process being pushed on us by the college, and after that I basically gave up and stopped trying to put any heart into it. The core gameplay loop here is repulsive to me, there are too many mechanics and none of them are interesting. You can play it all the way from start to finish and remember nothing except a haze of scenery and a vague sense that you were probably just playing a video game somehow. The characters are zero-dimensional and there's no room for any interesting strategy or teamwork to evolve in the mess of interchangeable enemy arenas. I've included it on this website for completeness's sake, but I don't endorse this game or recommend playing it.

- We almost didn't make it to Steam for lack of various bureaucratic requirements. We also almost didn't make it out of our school's greenlight program; I was kind of surprised this game got finished at all. Sometimes I wish it wasn't. At least now I can technically say I've been "published on Steam", ha ha ha ha ha.

- I tried to include a hidden jump mechanic to spice things up but I think it was removed at the last minute. Womp womp.
